Vasowatch is a non-invasive wearable system and algorithmic decision support tool that continuously monitors maternal heart rate patterns to detect myometrial fatigue, a predictive biomarker for postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). By streaming data from ECG or PPG wearables into its VIBRANT algorithm, the platform updates a real-time risk status and sends alerts to bedside and care team dashboards thus providing hours of advance warning before delivery. Vasowatch's observational study demonstrated up to ten times the sensitivity of current admission risk tools, with statistically significant improvements detected six hours before delivery making it the first tool of its kind to predict PPH physiologically rather than by patient history.
