PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Hannah Cervical Cup uses suction-based tension to stimulate collagen regrowth and stiffness in the cervix, counteracting the compression-driven collagen breakdown that causes preterm birth. Placed by a physician in minutes around week 13 and removed at week 37, the noninvasive device also has potential to treat premature rupture of membranes by allowing amniotic fluid to re-accumulate, a condition with no existing treatment. A first-in-human study demonstrated 38% long-term increase in cervical stiffness while confirming safety.
